Gears Pro Circuit Mexico Open Crowns OpTic Gaming Champions
The first Gears of War Pro Circuit championship of 2018 is over. Mexico was the home to the first tournament and the teams who made the trip battles for their part of the $200,000 prize pool.
So, without dragging this on, and as the title of this news article states, OpTic Gaming walked away as the winners, as they defeated Ghost Gaming in the Grand Final. On a side note, the Mexican crowd had a lot to cheer for as one for their own, Daniel "Identivez" Santillana was playing for Ghost Gaming.
Sitting an looking at all the results, what pops out is that the European Team Fable Gaming made a run toward the finals, even knocking out one of the powerhouse teams Echo Fox.
As we head into the second month of 2018, Mexico is now in the rear fiew mirror and fans look forward to the Pro Circuit heading to Las Vegas in early April.
